What's a Billion Between Friends?
Yesterday, Warren Buffett announced he'd be donating the bulk of his fortune to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Buffett's gift essentially doubles the foundation's existing $30 billion endowment. I believe that within his lifetime, Bill Gates will be better known as a philanthropist than he is for being the world's consummate geek.
