Mashup Camp

Mashup Camp 2 will be held this coming week at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, mere walking distance from the Microsoft Silicon Valley Campus. Our own Scott Isaacs will be teaching a class on creating Windows Live Gadgets during Mashup Camp University.

In the spirit of mashups, I thought I'd play around with the Yahoo! Search API and try to do something with the JSON feeds it can generate. The result is my new Technology News link on the right side of the page. Click that link to see five stories culled from Yahoo! News and displayed on this page using JavaScript.

I've also added a recent visitors window which can be accessed by clicking on the world icon in the upper-right-hand corner of the page. This window uses a JSON feed provided by GVisit.com.
