- Lose 15.5 pounds. Yesterday I purchased a scale. As of this morning I weigh 185.5 lbs. That's too much and I think I'd be in a lot better shape if I weighed something like 170. So, 15.5 lbs are coming off. Whatever the topic of my posts, I'll be sure to include my weight. I figure that'll be a good way to keep me on task.
- Get off the couch. In a lot of ways, this relates to number 1 above. I have to start doing some sort of physical activity. Since moving to the city, I've done a lot more walking than I'm used to, but it's time to start running. I'll be hitting the treadmill for real in 2007.
- Stay out past midnight at least once each weekend. Last night I was playing Texas Hold'em on Xbox Live with Andy Chin until 1 AM. That's not healthy. In the new year I pledge to stay out past midnight at least once each weekend. (By the way, Andy, buy a headset!)
- Want what I have. I have a tendency to dwell on the things I want but don't have. I think I'd be better off if I spent more time appreciating the things I do have.
- Don't lose sight of your goals. Goal number four is all fine and good, but I won't let it change who I am.
- Blog more. I started this blog at the end of June and posted 38 times. That means I posted once every ten days or so. Unlike Dare Obasanjo, I think I'll make it a point to post more often. I'm going to try to post at least twice each week. We'll see if that's possible.
