Gears of War Machine
About four weeks ago, I purchased an Xbox 360, or as I've come to think of it, my Gears of War Machine. Like a lot of people my age, I've owned a few game systems in the past. But for the most part, they've done a poor job of entertaining me, at least since I was 14.In the past, I owned three (yes, three!) GameCube systems, and at least two Nintendo 64's that I can recall. As an adult, each game system I've purchased has failed to hold my interest for more than a week or so and ends up being sold on eBay.
I think my Xbox 360 may be different and Xbox Live is the only reason why. Unfortunately, I haven't spent as much time playing video games as a lot of people I find myself pitted against online. The last shooter I spent any time playing was Duke Nukem 3D. What this means is, even after about 3 weeks playing Gears, I'm still getting slain left and right by little kids.
At this point, I may actually be getting worse. At least today I realized that it's only the chainsaw that requires you to hit the trigger in order to melee. Yes, I am that bad.
